The Trial Warrior : Our Canadian Corporate Sponsor

by Brian Inkster 30. September 2009 22:47

A very generous donation from Antonin I. Pribetic makes "The Trial Warrior Blog" our first Corporate Sponsor from outwith the UK.

Antonin I. Pribetic (aka The Trial Warrior) is a Toronto-based lawyer with Steinberg Morton Hope & Israel LLP specialising in domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration. He also teaches Advanced Legal Process at the University of Toronto at Mississauga - Rotman School of Management - Diploma in Forensic & Investigative Accounting (DIFA) program.

A few years ago, Antonin picked up a copy of The Art of War - the classic Chinese treatise on military theory and Taoist philosophy - and experienced an epiphany after reading the following quote from Sun Tzu: "Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat." Since then, Antonin has studied and applied The Art of War to both his professional and personal life. His blog endeavours to lead rather than simply follow; to enlighten, inform and entertain, as well as to learn from its readers, contributors and warriors in all disciplines and walks of life.

Antonin didn't realise until I told him that his donation (the largest single one that we have received to date) gave him the 'fringe benefits' of a listing on inkstersgive.com with his samurai logo appearing on our hard hats and/or t-shirts when we are building in Argentina.
